Zade Burnett

Zade Burnett, born November 26, 2006, age 18, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the arms of his mother while surrounded by family and loved ones.

Zade had Pallister Killian Syndrome (PKS), but that is not what defined our warrior. Zade’s strength of heart, joy, serenity, the sweetness of his spirit and his ability to inspire virtually everyone he met are the things that define his amazing soul.

He loved light, any kind of light and his love of music was legendary. The nurses, doctors and staff on the 8th floor of Children’s Hospital were like a second family. They loved him as we love them. His room (and the hallway) was always filled with the sounds of Sam Smith, Adele, or Zade’s overly deep, offkey voice humming his own songs. Disco lights filled the room, which everyone called Club Zadertot. And his iconic Disco Santa. 

We know that he is now dancing in the light and singing in the stars. He will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love him.

Zade is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Lois Johnson, who adored him deeply, and Randolph Johnson, as well as his grandparents, Penny and Rex Burnett. Many Uncles, Aunts and young cousins that he has joined in the sky. 

He is survived by his beloved mother Amanda Miller, grandparents Richard & Judy Miller and Joe & Mitzi Fay. Zades favorite person in the world, sister Makkya Stansbery. Half brother Kayden Cruz. Nephews Apollo and baby Kai Rivera. Uncles Colin (Sarah) Miller, Adrian (Benito) Miller-Torres, and Pete (Karla) Burnett. Great uncle and aunt Steven (Michelle) Beard, Great aunts Lisa Morand, Beth Bascom, Carolyn Spencer, Karen Evans and Susan Rapp and Kim Miller. Special family and friends, Sherri, Alicia, Louise, Lara, Klyie And Veyda, Deija, Melody, Shena, Amber, as well as many various cousins and extended family and so many amazing home health nurses that loved and cared for Zade. Lastly, all of Zades homies on 8A who became family. 

The family will receive friends and family for a funeral service and visitation on Saturday, January 25, at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, Ohio, 43064, with the visitation beginning at 12:00PM and ending at 3:00PM for the funeral service to begin immediately following at 3:00PM.
