Zelda S. Woods, age 91, died Monday, January 3, 2011 in Mt. Sterling Place. She was born February 15, 1919 in Lawrence County, KY. The daughter of the late Millard and Virgie (Vanover) Scaggs.
She was preceded in death by husbands Emery Marshall and Alford Woods; sons William Marshall and Harold Marshall; daughter, Dottie Lang.
Survived by daughter, Joyce Kern; stepson, Douglas Woods; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Darbyville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 5 – 8 p.m.
