Born in Hilliard, Ohio, Rick founded the Tidd Funeral Home 1981. A 1970 graduate of Hilliard High School, 1973 graduate of Franklin University with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and 1974 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Rick leads his staff by example with a proven approach to caring and personal attention.
Arlene Headlee Tidd is a lifelong Hilliard resident and a licensed cosmetologist. She also assists with administrative duties in the funeral home.*

Josh is part of the second generation of family involved in the Tidd Family Funeral Home. He is a lifelong Hilliard resident and a graduate of Hilliard Davidson High School Class of 2001. After high school, Josh attended Franklin University and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with a Bachelor's Degree of Mortuary Science in 2005. He is a member of the Avery Masonic Lodge 493; Scottish Rite; and the Independent Order of OddFellows of Hilliard. He is an active member of the Hilliard Rotary Club, and the Hilliard Moose. Josh is an avid golfer and is a member of the Heritage Golf Club. Josh also enjoys spending time with his family, especially his newborn daughter, Everly Kay Tidd and his boxer, Titan.
Shelly Baird is the second family generation at Tidd Funeral Home. She graduated from Hilliard High School in 1994 and attended The Ohio Sate University graduating with Bachelor's degree in communications in 1998. Following graduation from Ohio State Shelly earned her Funeral Directors license and assumed an active role in the community and the family business. Shelly and her husband Steve have 3 children. Shelly is a member of the Hilliard United Methodist Church.
United States Army Veteran. Married Ann (Reed) June 10, 1989. We have three children, Kylie Ann, Mackenna Reed, and Aidan Reese. I am a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Ohio and a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute Mortuary Science where I received the William J. Musmanno Award for outstanding ability, attitude, commitment, and achievement in the clinical setting in 1992. I have enjoyed numerous activities in my profession serving as past President and Treasurer of Summit County Funeral Directors Association, member of Ohio Funeral Directors Association, disaster team and past policy board member. Also a member of Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team responding to past disasters; September 11, 2001, hurricane Katrina and Rita in Louisiana, base camp St. Gabriel and while attending mortuary school assisted with the crash of U.S. Air Flt. #427 in Aliquippa, PA. I joined the Tidd Funeral Home in June of 2001.
Born in Hilliard, Terry is a 1980 graduate of Dublin High School and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1984. He resides on the family farm in Jerome Township. A licensed funeral director for over 20 years, he joined the staff at Tidd Family Funeral Homes in April, 2016. Terry is an active parishioner of St. Brigid of Kildare Church. He is also a member of New England Masonic Lodge #4 F. & A.M. He enjoys golf, snow skiing in the Rockies and traveling the American West.
Angie Lenox is a lifelong Hilliard resident. She graduated from Hilliard High School and received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The Ohio State University. Angie has been with the funeral home for over 17 years. She manages the office, handles all the necessary documents when one loses a family member; along with helping the family file for Veteran and insurance paper work. She assists families in any way possible when a family loses a loved one.
Hometown:Louisville, KY Education:University of Alabama Scholarship Athlete – Basketball Married:Cynthia Boykin of Wadesboro, NC Children: Bart, Adam, Joanna Dale began his career in the funeral industry in 1978 with Old Colonial Funeral Home, located in Louisville, KY. Dale is a licensed, Ohio Funeral Director and specializes in Advance Funeral Planning. Dale is a 30-year member of the Grace Brethren Church and is currently serving on the Board of Worthington Christian Schools. Dale has served as the pre-need specialist for Tidd Funeral Home since 2004.
Dave was born and raised in rural Northeast Ohio but went to Florida after high school. After college, he spent 35 years in ministry
and religious education working in the Caribbean and the Middle East.
Funeral Directing is a second career for him, but one that fits his skillsets as he is passionate to care for people during their time of need. He earned his Funeral services degree at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He spent a few years as a funeral director and embalmer in central Florida.
In June 2022, he joined the Tidd Funeral Home staff as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Dave is married and has four children, who all live in central Ohio. His hobbies are marriage, grandparenting, and hiking, particularly section-hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Pastor Phil Conrad is a 1969 graduate of the Circleville Bible College, now Ohio Christian University. On June 28, 1969, he married the love of his life Karen (Kline) Conrad. Then on July 11, 1969, Phil was ordained by CCCU, and in July 1969 to July 1979, he was the Pastor of the West Jefferson Church of Christ in Christian Union. In July of 1979, Phil and Karen moved to Arizona where he became the Pastor of a church in Tucson, Arizona until 1995. Pastor Phil and his wife Karen moved back to Ohio in 1995 and he became the Pastor of the Cornerstone Church, in Plain City, Ohio, until January 2017. In January 2017 to the Present time, he does Pulpit Supply Ministry.
In his spare time, he loves spending time with his lovely wife Karen, she is a vital part of his life. He also enjoys spending time with his son, daughter-in-law, his two grandchildren, and his friends. But what he loves the most is sharing the word of the Lord with others.
Pastor Phil has been working with families and comforting them during their time of need at Tidd Funeral Homes for many years.
